Ten on Tuesday – It’s 70 Degrees Outside Again edition

It’s time again for Ten On Tuesday.  Thanks to Chelsea for hosting!

1. Red Sauce or White Sauce?
Red.  Always red.

2. Do you prefer pasta you can twirl or stab?
I like stabbing pasta.  Unless the dish calls for pasta to be swirled.  Then it’s okay.

3. Baked or boiled?
Hard to say.  I do love lasagna something fierce though.  Or eggplant parm.

4. Do you like meat in your sauce or do you kick it vegetarian style?
I usually will make meatballs and then throw them in the sauce.  Sometimes some sausage too.

5. Where have you had your very best pasta ever?
Well, my grandma makes the best sauce EVER.  But it’s hard to say where I’ve had the best pasta ever.  I guess I’m still on the hunt?

6. What is your favorite pasta dish?
Chicken parm.  Or anything with pesto.

7. Do you serve meatballs when you make spaghetti or just do a meat sauce?
You need meatballs.  They make the whole thing complete.

8. Why type (rice, whole wheat, egg, etc) of noodles do you use?
Regular noodles.  Nothing fancy.

9. What type of meats or vegetables do you put in your sauce?
Lots of garlic!  And some assorted spices.

10. Do you make a “Sunday gravy” to use throughout the week or do you just open a jar of whatever and heat it up? (No judgment on this one!)
In my family, we make a big pot of sunday gravy (although that’s not what we call it) and use it throughout the week.  If we need to use jarred sauce, my mom throws some stuff in it, so it’s not so generic.
